Are you ready for 48 hours inspection notice?
As you may know, maintained schools are inspected with 48 hours notice but from Janaury 2007 independent schools will be given 48 hours notice to be inspected by OFSTED through their nominated inspection contractor and if you have been inspected through your 6 years cycle then that time has also been reduced to 3 years, so you could be inspected again in next 3-4 years or earlier depending when you were inspected. Any independent school that has not been inspected since Septemebr 2003 will have inspection by spring 2008.
At Educations 1st we are expert in supporting schools who need help in this area. We offer support covering the seven standards and completion of SEF/SEIF. So get in touch before the 48 hours notice.
